La primera catarata: La Corbata
(The first waterfall: The Tie)

At the 64th kilometer of the National Road 1, on the Cerro de la Muerte, is Truchas Selva Madre.

From the main road, there is a deviation to the left and 2 kilometers from there (direction San José to San Isidro de Pérez Zeledón) on a gravel road.

In Truchas Madre Selva you can fish trout or walk the beautiful trails they have. Slopes are steep and require good physical condition. Also, the weather is variable depending on the time of year, so it can rain a lot and have temperatures around 10-12 degrees Celsius.

En el kilómetro 64 de la Carretera Nacional 1, en el Cerro de La Muerte, se encuentra Truchas Selva Madre.

De la carretera principal, se debe desviar a la izquierda dos kilómetros (en el sentido San José a San Isidro de Pérez Zeledón), sobre un camino de lastre.

En Truchas Selva Madre se puede pescar trucha o caminar en los bellos senderos que tienen. Las pendientes son fuertes y se requiere de buena condición física. Asimismo, el clima es variable y dependiendo de la época del año, puede llover mucho y haber temperaturas que rondan los 10 a 12 grados centígrados.
